The Lincolnshire Philharmonia has both amateur and professional instrumentalists within its membership, however, the orchestra is administered strictly as an amateur orchestra by members of the Band of the RAF Regiment on behalf of Royal Air Force Cranwell.

Applications are welcome from any instrumentalists who considers their playing standard to be a minimum equivalent to the Associated Board Grade 8.

Note: As orchestral rehearsals take place within the military base of Royal Air Force Cranwell (near Sleaford), applicants may be required to satisfy additional security requirements during specific rehearsal periods.
